This is Tiyn, our 3 year old pug! He's a character! He'd like to give a shout out to Riley and the kids . . . . . woof! (we don't think you're fat at all--it's a pug thing!)
I second Amander's comment. Tiyn is lookin' pretty hot in this picture! Thanks for saying I'm not fat. I wish you could tell that to Jake. He says I am. Jake, listen to Dads(2)... they know what they're talking about! And thanks for the shout out! Can't wait to see more pics of Tiyn and Lira... tell them I said "hi"!
This is kind of random but I read a comment you left on 'a room somewhere' regarding a post about Prop. 8.
While I disagree with your position, I am SO impressed with the respectful way in which you voiced it. I have been very involved in the yes on prop 8 campaign and have been amazed at the anger and hate that have been directed at me by those who have a different opinion. In the last two days alone, I have been called a bigot, uneducated, ignorant and hateful. For me this is a fight for traditional marriage, for my children...I do not hate gays in any way. In fact there are some whom I respect and admire very much. You have been added to that list. You are definitely classier than most of the people I have met who are opposed to Prop. 8. Thank you so much.
P.S. I am posting anonymously just in case someone feels the need to bash on my blog. My kids read it and they've seen enough ugliness in the last month on this issue. I wish you the best.
Thanks Mr/Mrs/Ms Anon, for leaving your thoughts--I love everyone and you are entitled to your view. If you read the points on Prop 8 and study non-biased FACT, I think you will see Prop 8--and any other attempt to write discrimination into our wonderful Constitution--in a WAY different light. My relationship and marriage does not affect you and yours--we can live and love in the same world. Teach your children to love everyone . . .

He's adorable! I think he and Riley need a playdate. Although, I'm pretty sure the last time she had a playdate, she ended up with child. Or children.
